Zesty Crab Spread
1 package (8oz/250g) cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup tomato based chili sauce 1 tsp dijon mustard 2 tbsp grated onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 can (6oz/170g) crabmeat, drained paprika, to taste 1. In a slow cooker stoneware, combine all ingredients, except paprika. Stir well. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Stir again and cook on high for additional 30 minutes, unit hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with paprika and serve. Or set temperature to low until ready to serve. Works best in a small (maximum 3.5 quart) slow cooker. Serves 6
