- Add tofu or tempeh to sups, stews, stir frys and salads.
- Use tofu or textured vegetable protein in place of cheese and meat in casseroles, chili, tacos and spaghetti sauce
- Mix soy flour with other flours to make muffins or pancakes
- Use some soy milk in cooking
Some Potential Benefits of Soybeans
- They may reduce the risk of estrogen dependent breast and prostate cancers, perhaps by competing with real estrogen for receptor sites, thereby reducing cells exposure to estrogen
